Our story
A shop built on second opinions
Melrose Auto Repair is a small, hands-on shop at 4122 Melrose Ave, and that's exactly how our customers like it. Drivers come to us after a dealership quote felt off or another shop pushed work they weren't sure they needed, and they stay because we tell them the truth, even when the honest answer is that nothing needs fixing.
When we inspect your car, we show you what we see. Jay walks customers through the condition of their brakes and components with a camera, so you're never asked to take a repair on faith. If the pads have months of life left, we'll say so.
We handle repairs and routine maintenance six days a week, we take walk-ins, and customers regularly tell us our pricing beats every other quote they've called around for — including the dealership.
- We show you the problem on camera before any work
- Walk-ins accepted
- Pricing customers call a fraction of dealership cost
- Open six days a week

“Best place ever! Honest, great price, fast check up. He performed a thorough visual inspection, using a camera to clearly show me the condition of all my brakes. I am incredibly thankful for his honesty! He saved me from an unnecessary expense.”
“Very good service, fast and cheap. Very trustworthy! 1/4 the cost of the dealership for the same quality of repairs. I stopped going anywhere else for any maintenance.”
